亭下村位于福建省宁德市寿宁县西南部，地处平溪的西侧边缘。村南接周宁县纯池乡的禾溪村，西侧与政和县交界。距寿宁县城关约53公里，面积11平方千米。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

村后昔日有一座墓亭，村庄因此得名亭下。[5]

地理环境[edit]

村庄海拔在728至1056米之间，主要种植水稻、锥栗、茶叶和香菇。村内有牛垱坂、小溪、村头、下井、三角洋、溪底源和亭下这七个自然村。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

1950年，村归第三区（平溪区）管辖。1959年设平溪公社，村中设亭下大队。1984年公社改为乡，大队改称亭下村委会；2013年底乡改为镇，村委会名称不变。[4]

2016年，村庄整体搬迁，新建房屋。[4]

经济[edit]

2021年村集体经济收入52.95万元。[3]
