木场村位于福建省宁德市寿宁县平溪镇西南部，平均海拔1096米，是镇内各村中海拔最高的村庄，距镇政府所在地约12公里。村辖木场、狮子岩两个自然村。[1][3]

地名由来[edit]

村地原为大片森林，村民先在此栽培香菇、搭起木楼，之后定居，因而得名木场。[5]

历史沿革[edit]

清乾隆年间，吴氏始祖自浙江庆元迁居于此。[4]

新中国成立前村属平溪乡；1950年划为第三区（平溪区）的一部分。1959年设立平溪公社，村为其中的木场大队；1984年公社改乡，大队改为木场村委会；2013年底乡改为镇，村委会名称未变。[4]

地理环境[edit]

天湖、仙岗顶与鬼足洞都在村内，瀑布群与狮子岩也是村中的自然景观，矿产有叶蜡石和高岭土。昼夜温差大，适宜高山绿茶生长。[2][3]

经济[edit]

村内以高山生态茶为主。木场绿茶生长周期长，口感回甘，耐冲泡。“狮峰翠芽”一款木场绿茶，2002年在宁德首届名优茶评比里列二等，并获“优质茶”称号。狮子岩一带的小菜茶被列入平溪小种红茶保护基地。2021年村财收入突破十万元。[3]
