岭根村位于福建省宁德市寿宁县平溪镇东南部，村落坐落在莲花顶下，全村地域面积3609亩。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

村边一岭通往平溪，村庄处在岭脚下，因此得名岭根。[5]

历史沿革[edit]

清代，周姓始祖周昌兰与弟等四人迁往下岭根，该地1989年改称中村。此后吴、蔡、徐、谢等姓先后迁入。[4]

新中国成立前村属平溪乡，1950年划入第三区（平溪区）。1959年建平溪公社，村中设岭根大队。1984年公社改乡，大队改为村委会；2013年底乡级建制改为镇，村委会名称保留，隶属平溪镇。[4]

经济[edit]

村内盛产福云六号茶、福鼎白茶、政和白茶，并产锥栗、水稻、毛竹和木材。村财收入在2021年突破十万元。[3]
