屏峰村位于福建省宁德市寿宁县平溪镇西南方，村庄建在山峰之巅的盆地上，平均海拔860米，距镇政府所在地约5公里。东临芹洋乡，南临平溪村，西临政和县，北临下党乡。[1][5]

地名由来[edit]

村前大山形似一道绿色屏风，村庄因此称屏峰。另一种说法是，村子四周的小山尖如瓶，最初叫瓶峰，因方言读音相近才改为现名。[2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

清乾隆八年（1743年），蔡氏始祖自托溪乡迁入。新中国成立前，村属平溪乡的屏峰保；1950年划归第三区（平溪区）。[4]

1959年设平溪公社，村为其屏峰大队。1984年公社改为乡，大队改称屏峰村委会；2013年底乡改为镇，村委会不变。[4]

1934年8月，粟裕、刘英带领的挺进师经过屏峰，夜间在此留宿。1938年秋，刘英时任中共浙江临时省委书记，在浙闽交界处开辟新区，宣传抗日、组织救亡；随后率3000余人循屏峰至下党的古道转赴浙江。[2]

1989年7月，时任宁德地委书记的习近平从屏峰出发前往下党开展扶贫调研，步行约17.5公里。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

村内有凝秀宝殿、蔡氏宗祠、陈氏宗祠等建筑，景点有凝秀殿和大王林。[5]

文化[edit]

村民通用屏峰方言，属建瓯语系。民间信仰有道教闾山派与佛教临济派。[5]
