渡家洋村位于福建省宁德市寿宁县犀溪镇东部，地处福安、寿宁、泰顺三县交界处，村庄东邻甲坑村，西邻西浦村，距镇政府约7千米，下辖5个自然村。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

村中有一座山，形状像一只渡船，村因此得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清乾隆五十五年（1790年），蔡姓由寿宁县峡头迁来定居。[1][3]

土改时此地属南阳区西浦乡，1958年划入红旗公社，设渡家洋大队；1965年归西浦公社；1970年改属犀溪公社；1984年撤社设乡，成为村委会。[3]

自然环境与交通[edit]

全村地域面积约44平方千米，其中山场所占比重最大。村庄临近301省道，交通不太便利。[1]

红军活动[edit]

所辖自然村练功坪曾是红军驻扎之地。战时，对岸的商贾古道被国民党部队占据，红军便改走练功坪对岸的古道通往浙江泰顺，并在此驻留一段时间，与当地群众一起在坪上练功。因对岸的桥窄，不会游水的战士由村民从上游水流平缓处背过河去。[1]
