武曲镇是福建省宁德市寿宁县下辖的镇，位于县境东南部，镇政府驻武曲村，辖12个行政村[1]。东南与福安市潭头镇相连，西南与福安市社口镇接壤[3]。

历史沿革[edit]

唐武德六年（623年）此地属长溪县平溪里。明景泰六年（1455年）寿宁设县，此地归福安里四都；清雍正六年（1728年）改隶东南乡[4]。

1934年设武曲乡，1936年12月，联保办事处改作武曲乡，划入第三区（斜滩）。1945年撤区，武曲乡保留[4]。

1958年设卫星公社，1965年7月撤区并社后改设武曲公社。1984年9月，公社改为乡；1994年10月，乡改为镇，称武曲镇，辖12个行政村[4]。

地理环境[edit]

镇域面积61.6平方千米，东南与福安市潭头镇相连，西南与福安市社口镇接壤[3]。

人口民族[edit]

截至2019年末，镇域户籍人口为12725人[3]。

名胜古迹[edit]

大韩村的张高谦陵园占地4.5亩。陵园于1990年10月开工，1991年1月建成，内有张高谦塑像、陵墓和先锋亭等建筑。1996年9月，陵园被定为第四批福建省文物保护单位[5]。

文化[edit]

2024年1月，武曲镇被命名为「2023年福建省卫生乡镇」[2]。

著名人物[edit]

张高谦（1947年至1961年2月6日）是大韩村人。1961年，他在阻止偷盗集体羊群时遇害，年仅13岁，团中央追认他为「红色少年」[6]。

林栋（1859年至1921年）是梅洋村人，清末进士，官至礼部郎中，一生著述较多[7][8]。
