村子位于大蜀洋下方的小平地上，因在大蜀之后辟居，故名[2]。
地理环境[edit]
东面有吴道仙、大蜀嶂两座山峰，公路从村旁经过，交通便利[1]。土地总面积6.26平方千米，其中耕地2213亩（水田666亩），山地10266亩[1]。
