洋边村位于南阳镇北部，离镇区约1公里，因集镇发展，村子已与镇区几乎连成一片[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

村名原作「渔洋」，因村中盛产淡水鱼；后因住宅多建在小溪两旁的田洋边，改称「洋边」[1]。

龚姓始祖龚载由浙江金华迁入渔溪一带，后其后人龚霖移居洋边，至今已繁衍三十多世[1]。

文化[edit]

2021年11月，洋边村被命名为2021年福建省卫生村[1]。
