水北村在斜滩镇西北部，离镇约10公里，离县城42公里。东边隔溪是香菇山村，西南接山田村，北面与清源乡相邻。村内有3个自然村，姓氏以何、许二姓为主。村民以茶叶种植为主，水稻也是重要作物。[1][2][3]

地理环境[edit]

村域海拔260至500米，气候常年温暖。耕地1202亩，林地2437.95亩，全村土地合计5523.3亩。[1]

经济[edit]

茶园约1553亩，是村内的主要产业。水稻田1200多亩，村里还有油茶基地150多亩。[1]

文化[edit]

苎麻手工织布工艺被列入「宁德市第六批非物质文化遗产保护项目」，村民吴福秀是其代表性传承人。[1]
