门里村位于屏南县北部，地处群山环抱的盆地之中。村名的来由是路下溪与中秋溪汇合处两岸地势回环，形如一扇门，村落建在门里面。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来由是路下溪与中秋溪汇合处两岸地形回转，形如一扇大门，村建在门内，故称门里。[1]

建国前，此地为第一区柏源乡的门里村。1958年至1962年间，它隶属长桥公社，大队名为门里；1963年转入路下公社。1984年改设路下乡门里村委会，此名今天仍在使用。[1]

现全村493人、93户，划为2个村民小组。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

村中现存古老民房八座，以及保存完好的古代贞洁石坊两座。[1]

经济[edit]

村内水电和林木资源丰富，有国家级生态林700多亩，毛竹林1700多亩（年份未注），近年引进竹加工厂一家。[1]
