五溪村是屏南县路下乡西部的行政村，东与芳院村相连，西与路下村接壤，北与建瓯市东游镇天洋自然村交接。村名的来历是路下溪流经村境、到村前时弯曲如「五」字。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

路下溪流经村境，至村前弯曲如「五」字，村因此称五溪。[1]

建国前，村子隶属第一区的芳院乡。1958年至1963年间为长桥公社五溪大队；此后划入路下公社，大队仍称五溪。1984年改设路下乡五溪村委会，名称至今未换。[1]

20世纪60年代后，村中陆续建起村部、电站和学校；20世纪90年代，地（市）、县、乡的领导分别挂点联系五溪村。2005年台风过后，后门山的巨石群在6月17日前后发生崩塌，2006年已有30户村民搬出。[2]

地理环境[edit]

村落位于路下乡西部，坐北朝南。村内通往芳院、三万里、门里、中秋、岭头等村的道路，是路下乡的一条必经要道。耕地面积487亩。[2]

人口[edit]

现全村144户、599人，划为4个村民小组。村中有陆、李、杨、郑四姓，各姓相处和睦。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

村中的八大风景，据博雅地名网所列，包括三宝石、石桥、五溪佛殿、石门、龟戏龙、出米石、石人等。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，五溪村被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
