彩虹村位于甘棠乡南部，虎甘线贯穿全境，辖一个自然村上山口。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村后门山的来龙岗两侧，有一条宽数丈、颜色如五彩的泥土路延伸到溪边，如同彩虹吸水，故名彩虹。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年此地属熙岭区彩虹乡；同年后归甘棠公社，设彩虹大队；1984年改设甘棠乡彩虹村委会。[1]

人口民族[edit]

经济[edit]

村里以粮食、蔬菜、林业、食用菌和养殖业为主导产业。村内有母猪养殖基地、上山口茶叶生产基地和无核柿种植基地。[1]
