下山登村位于屏南县南部，在甘棠乡境内，距县城约23公里，距乡政府约7公里。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村前后有两层山台，村庄建在下层的台地上，原称「下山党」，后雅化为「下山登」。[1]

1958年设甘棠公社下山登大队，1984年改设甘棠乡下山登村委会，地名沿用至今。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村内森林资源丰富，森林覆盖率约75.5%，有毛竹林约900亩。[1]

人口民族[edit]

村里以反季节蔬菜和食用菌为主，水果有油柰、桃、李和板栗。[1]

文化[edit]

2023年10月，下山登村被确定为2023年度宁德市「一村一品」专业村；2025年11月，又被确定为福建省2025年度省级「一村一品」专业村，主营高山蔬菜。[1]
