王林村位于甘棠乡南部，是县域南端的交通要地，省道202线自南向北穿村而过，距乡政府驻地约4公里。[1]

地理环境[edit]

原村部海拔约770米。全村土地总面积约12307亩，其中耕地约2816亩，山地约9491亩。村内辖墓下、吾洋两个自然村，共11个村民小组。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名来自旧时后门山上的一片树林。此地原为王姓的山林，称王厝林，后简称王林。[1]

解放初，此地属长桥区王林乡；1958年归甘棠公社，设王林大队；1984年改设甘棠乡王林村委会。[1]

人口民族[edit]

村民以白木耳生产为主导产业，同时种植西瓜与反季节花椰菜。[2]
