厦地村位于屏城乡东南部，距乡政府约8公里，百度百科记其别称为二十二都。据传先民见此地冬季少雪，取名「夏地」，后雅化为「厦地」。[2][3]

历史文化[edit]

据村情简介，村落始建于元代，明代成形，清代鼎盛，至今有800多年历史。村庄依山而建，兼有中原文化、程朱理学的影响，建筑则吸收了徽派风格。现存明清古建筑群60多栋，有庙观、歇亭、宗祠、书院等，建筑以夯土墙与木构楼相结合为特点。[1]

人文[edit]

村庄曾是屏南「四大书乡」之一。清嘉庆至宣统年间，村中一房入国子监的太学生近80人，明至清间共出贡生、举人、进士7人。[1]

近年发展[edit]

近年村中发展了民宿、研学、艺术游学和书店等业态，成为研学、影视、摄影和写生的活动场所。[1][3]

荣誉[edit]

2014年列入第三批中国传统古村落名录，同年被列为福建省摄影创作基地。2024年6月入选福建省第四批高级版「绿盈乡村」名单。[1][2]
