屏城乡是福建省宁德市屏南县下辖的乡，乡政府设在县城区，地名因位于屏南城镇周围而得名。全乡以山地为主，平均海拔723米，是屏南县重点侨乡之一。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1961年9月增设城关公社，1981年12月城关公社改称屏城公社。1984年9月撤销屏城公社管委会，设立屏城乡人民政府，原生产大队改称村民委员会，其辖区称行政村。[3]

地理环境[edit]

乡域面积有两种记载：博雅地名网作约143.8平方千米，百度百科作140.01平方千米，两处均未注年份。地形以山地为主，平均海拔723米，森林覆盖率为82%。[1][2][4]

人口[edit]

百度百科记截至2019年末户籍人口为11535人。博雅地名网另记约7522人，未注年份，此处不取。[4][1]

经济[edit]

乡内以食用菌、水果、高山反季节蔬菜、竹木和养殖为主导产业，农庄经济也有发展。工业以溪坪工业区和洋中工业小区为载体，形成了石板材、水电、竹木加工与塑料再生加工等行业。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

后龙村内有一组明清古建筑，今称后龙古建筑群，其中的龙津桥是木拱廊桥。2018年，这组建筑被福建省公布为第九批省级文物保护单位。[5]
