历史沿革[edit]
1957年，此地隶属长桥区官洋乡；1958年划为长桥公社远丘大队。1984年，此处先为远丘村委会，其后改称远坵村委会；1993年撤乡建镇后归长桥镇管辖。[1]
人文[edit]
村落旧属古田县，曾名“蓬瀛境远丘村”。明代起村中已有红曲酿造，鼎盛时制曲房多达数十间。[2]
