地名由来[edit]
早先村中松柏生长得又多又大，村名原作“王柏”。1951年以后，松柏陆续被运往外地，村名遂改为“柏源”。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
柏源村在1957年归长桥区柏源乡所辖；此后经历公社化，1958年成立长桥公社柏源大队，1984年设为长桥乡柏源村委会，1993年起隶属长桥镇。[1]
2022年12月，柏源村获认定为2022年度「一村一品」专业村，产业为水稻。2024年6月，福建省第四批「高级版绿盈乡村」名单公布，柏源村入选。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
村内梯田据称始建于元代，至今已有七百余年；另有苏氏宗祠与清代节孝石牌坊。[2]
