半圳村位于古屏公路沿线，距长桥镇所在地约3公里，与古田县平湖镇相距约7公里。[2] 村庄建在一条只开凿了一半的水圳旁，村名由此而来。[1]
福建省在2020年12月公布的「一村一品」示范村名单中，半圳村榜上有名，产品为茶树菇。[1]

茶树菇是村中的主导产业。2008年，村内设立半圳茶树菇专业合作社，经营方式为“合作社+企业+农户”。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
1957年，此地划归长桥区牛山乡。次年改称长桥公社半圳大队；1984年设长桥乡半圳村委会，1993年起隶属长桥镇。[1]
