历史沿革[edit]
1957年，此地归长桥区牛山乡；1958年成立长桥公社下牛山大队。1984年起称村委会，1993年撤乡建镇时仍沿用原名。[1]
1977年，此村被定为屏南县农业学大寨的试点，进行土地平整；1988年以后推行旧房改造，村民逐渐集中居住。[2]
