长桥村是屏南县长桥镇下辖的行政村，位于镇西南部，南与古田县平湖镇接壤。[2][7] 博雅地名网称它是全镇最大的行政村，也是镇人民政府所在地。[1][2] 村中的屏南万安桥是中国现存最长的木拱廊桥。[4] 2012年12月，长桥村列入第一批中国传统村落名录。[1][6]

历史沿革[edit]

长桥村旧属古田县，旧称古田县横溪里二十都龙江境。[2] 博雅地名网载，1949年至1955年此地为屏南县县治。[2]

1955年县治迁往古厦，此地改为长桥区长桥乡。1958年归长桥公社，设长桥大队；1984年改设长桥乡长桥村委会，1993年撤乡后为长桥镇长桥村委会。[3]

博雅地名网载，长桥包氏的始祖于唐光启二年自河南固始南迁入闽，其后人于明洪武九年（1376年）在长桥定居。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

屏南万安桥又称龙江公济桥、彩虹桥，始建于北宋元祐五年（1090年），全桥设五墩六孔，属木拱廊屋式，全长98.2米，宽4.7米。[4] 2006年，包括它在内的「闽东北廊桥」列入「第六批全国重点文物保护单位」。[4]

天宝寺位于村东南约1公里的屏琴山（又名龙江冈）上，始建于唐开元二十九年（741年），占地4861平方米。[2][5] 村中另有九天巡按江夫人殿、包氏祠堂、演武台等古迹。[2]
