地理环境[edit]
村庄建在鹫峰山脉东南麓的缓坡上，莒溪自西向东穿村而过。[4]
历史沿革[edit]
村名因建在笔架山主峰之北而得。[1]
代溪镇人民政府2023年的村情介绍称村庄已有700余年历史，百度百科则称村落形成于元代以前。[3][4]
1957年以前，村庄隶属熙岭区北墘乡。1958年设黛溪公社北墘大队，1984年转为黛溪乡下的北墘村委会。[1] 1993年，黛溪乡撤销，此村随之归入代溪镇。[1]
人口民族[edit]
据代溪镇人民政府2023年11月发布的村情介绍，全村共609户2290人。[3]
文化[edit]
村中有清代古民居「佛仔厝」，1881年（清光绪七年）开工，1907年竣工，屋内人物木雕众多。[2]
村内另有六角炮楼、六角古井、郑公桥等古迹。[4]
村中家家酿酒，户户有酒窖，黄酒制作与酿造技艺是村庄的重要传统。[3]
荣誉方面，2014年11月列入第三批中国传统村落；2019年北墘黄酒文化旅游景区创建为国家3A级景区；2020年11月列入福建省「金牌旅游村」名单；2021年12月获福建省「第二批高级版绿盈乡村」（乡镇）确定；2022年8月经农业农村部推介，列入美丽休闲乡村名录（2022年）；2025年3月获认定为「福建省第一批省级乡村振兴示范村」。[1][4]
