历史沿革[edit]
村名原作「叶洋」，后来本地话以「玉」字代替「叶」字，遂改称玉洋。[2]
村中自唐代起已有居民生活，建房时曾挖出唐宋时期的石板和瓷片。[2]
村庄曾是屏宁古商道上的贸易中转地，自古也是屏古、屏宁之间的交通要冲。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
村中有宋代北岩寺遗址，村内住有多个姓氏。[1]
经济[edit]
村里以食用菌（香菇）为主导产业，并有水果、酿酒和茶叶等。[1][2]
2021年，玉洋村被评为福建省「一村一品」示范村。[1]
