村庄地形四周高、中间低，近似盆地，以山地为主，海拔560米。[3]
黛溪由西北向东南流去，途中与一条南北走向的北圪溪相会，两水汇流后注入霍童溪，村中水能资源丰富。[3]
村中适宜种植水稻和甘薯，水果有桃、李、杨梅等。[3]
