村内分布百丈漈、水帘洞等自然景观。百丈漈因旱季瀑布分层，被列为「宜洋八景」之一。[2]

村里有204户688人，常住364人。[1]
经济[edit]
村民多外出务工；常住人口的主要收入来自鸳鸯溪景区内的旅游服务和土特产销售。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1950年划归双溪区宜洋乡，1958年设双溪公社宜洋大队。1984年双溪乡成立后改称宜洋村委会，1986年双溪乡改镇，村委会改为双溪镇宜洋村委会。[1]
文化[edit]
2021年11月，村庄被命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
