地理环境[edit]
村子海拔1140米，距双溪镇所在地9.5公里，辖前峭、广坑两个自然村。[1]
人口民族[edit]
村里有210户686人，常住115人。[1]
文化[edit]
村中还有棋盘山火山遗址和木拱廊桥。[2]
2015年10月，村庄入选福建省第一批省级传统村落；2021年11月，被命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
屏南建县以前，村子属古田县新俗里。[2] 1950年村子归双溪区后峭乡管辖；1958年成为双溪公社的后峭大队；1984年改设双溪乡后峭村委会；1986年双溪乡改镇，村委会隶属双溪镇。[1]
