人口民族[edit]
全村共有231户983人，分为7个村民小组，辖兴福村、黄潭里、乾源、喷洋里4个自然村。[1]
经济[edit]
村民以种植反季节蔬菜、袖珍西红柿、茄子和锥栗为主，兼营养兔、养猪和养鱼；村子依托景区发展农家乐和旅游接待。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村庄建在田墘的顶部，原称墘头。因熙岭乡也有一个墘头，县政府批准改称墘源。[1] 1950年村子属第四区墘源乡；1958年改为双溪公社下的墘源大队；1984年划入新设的双溪乡，改称墘源村委会，两年后双溪乡改镇，村委会隶属双溪镇。[1] 2019年10月，县政府发文统一行政村名用字，村委会改称乾源村委会。[1]
