古厦社区是福建省宁德市屏南县古峰镇下辖的社区，位于县城关，城乡分类上属镇中心区，其邻近的社区有佳洋社区、城北社区、城东社区、长汾社区和东湖社区。[1]

地理环境[edit]

社区面积2.8平方公里，人口总数为19998人（年份未注）；另有暂住人口1415人，流动人口则为3510多人。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

此地建村于古峰山下，「厦」与「下」读音相同，因而得名古厦。[1]

解放初期，此地为棠口区的古厦乡，之后改为棠口公社的古厦大队。1956年至1957年，它属古峰镇；1958年至1962年，它归县综合农场；1962年后，它归城关公社，成为古厦大队。[1]

1981年12月古峰镇恢复后，此地仍在古峰镇内，为古厦大队；1984年改设古厦村委会，2003年成为古厦社区居民委员会。[1]
