城北社区是福建省宁德市屏南县古峰镇下辖的社区，位于县城关东北部的城乡结合部，北面以屏宁二级路为界，西面以城北路为界。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

城北社区设立于1981年11月。同年12月，县里将此地定名为城北居委会，但之后很长时间未正式办公，直到1991年9月才设立组织机构。[1]

2019年10月31日，此地按屏南县人民政府的一份通告（屏政综〔2019〕189号）改为城北社区居民委员会。[1]

地理环境[edit]

社区总面积约1.8平方公里。周边邻接的社区有东湖社区、古厦社区、长汾社区、城东社区和佳洋社区。[1]
