卓洋乡是福建省宁德市古田县下辖的乡，位于县境东部，乡政府驻卓洋村，距县城53公里。全乡下辖16个行政村。[1][3]

卓洋乡东接鹤塘镇，西邻大桥镇，北靠吉巷乡，南界闽侯县廷坪乡，红亭隘是境内大东与小东两地的分水岭。[3][4]

历史沿革[edit]

宋代这一带属元和乡，元明两代为元和乡四十都，清代归大东乡四十都。民国时期设第三区卓洋乡。[3][4]

1952年6月增设第九区公所，驻卓洋，1956年9月撤销。[2] 乡址所在的公社组建于1963年，1984年才改成乡制。[1][4][8]

地理环境[edit]

全乡面积据百度百科为94.61平方千米，博雅地名网作约98平方公里，两者相差较大，本条暂以百度百科数字为准。[3][1]

2014年9月，环境保护部把「国家级生态乡镇」的称号给了卓洋乡，评定的年度为2012年至2013年。[1]

人口民族[edit]

2018年户籍人口为15806人。[3] 海外侨胞1.5万多人，多数落脚于新加坡、马来西亚、泰国一带；秀峰、林前、树兜、前洋、卓洋五个村被认定为重点侨村。[4]

经济[edit]

乡里以农业为主，粮食作物有水稻、甘薯，经济作物有茶叶，食用菌是带动群众增收的重要产业。[4][5]

乡政府把七个行政村的菇棚集中统筹，新建的标准化菇棚对外发包，优先租给本地农户经营。[5]

名胜古迹[edit]

廖厝温泉位于廖厝村境内，距乡政府18公里，据百度百科，它是闽东一带仅见的天然硫磺泉。[1][6] 树兜村的树荫桥始建于明永乐十六年（1418年），2003年列为古田县文物保护单位。[7]

卓洋村的将军庙为县级文物保护单位，林前村的龙门祠同为县级文物保护单位，两处分别见卓洋村与林前村。[1]
