旧镇村位于凤埔乡北部，地处海拔800米以上的高山林区，北与建瓯市玉山镇相邻，南与屏南县交界，是三县交界的高山村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村名的来历是村后山形似鼓顶，方言谐音「旧镇」。本村原属福州府古田邑二十一都七保，后为凤埔乡管辖。建国初此处为平湖区的旧镇乡，1953年改入凤埔区，仍称旧镇乡；1958年转为平湖公社旧镇大队，1963年归凤埔公社，1984年设凤埔乡旧镇村委会。[1]
地理环境[edit]
全村山地达8万多亩，毛竹占1万多亩，竹木资源较为丰富。白岩洞位于本村洗马池林场西部，附近有森林2万亩。[1][2]
人口民族[edit]
村中7个自然村依次是旧镇、秦洋、伍墩、张墩、车溪、黄家寮和横坑。据博雅地名网，全村有408户1630多人（未注年份），党员45人。[1]
经济[edit]
村民以种植食用菌、反季节蔬菜为主，林业收入以竹笋、毛竹为主，农业以中稻为主。村内开发有旧镇三级水力发电站。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
石塔山上的龙凤寺，据博雅地名网称始建于唐代，现存建筑为1980年所建。山上石林林立，气候凉爽，是夏季避暑的去处。[2]
文化[edit]
2021年11月，福建省爱卫办命名本村为2021年福建省卫生村。[1]
