朱墩村位于古田县北部，在古瓯线西侧约4公里处，距古田城关约35公里。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

县政府的行政区划资料将本村写作「朱当」，村名依博雅地名网所载。村名的来历是旧传前山夜间常见宝珠似的光体，「朱」与「珠」方言同音。建国初此地为平湖区的朱墩村，1953年划入凤埔区；1958年转为平湖公社下的朱墩大队，1963年改隶凤埔公社，1984年设凤埔乡朱墩村委会。[1][3]

地理环境[edit]

村域辖区面积13.37平方千米，耕地约2490亩。林地方面，森林约33667亩；毛竹林、生态林与天然林分别约为8000亩、4660亩、6250亩，其余为杉木、松树和阔叶经济林。[1]

人口民族[edit]

全村分为7个自然村，名称依次是朱墩、刘墩、溪坪、坑里厂、平坑厂、后历、岗头。据博雅地名网，全村有292户967人（未注年份），党员38人，居住有汉族和畲族。[1]

经济[edit]

村内水果以桃子、李子、油柰为主，种植约100余亩。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

白岩洞位于村内九溪山场。据博雅地名网，它是一处火山岩地貌的石洞，海拔1300余米，冬季岩石上凝结雾水成冰，呈白色，故名白岩。当地传说此处是齐天大圣的洞府，每年七月二十五日和十月二十七日有信众前来祭拜。[1]
