际头村是凤埔乡的一个行政村，位于乡境内，东邻凤埔村，西与城东街道桃溪村相接，南与平沙村交界，北与峦龙村、福全村相连，距乡政府约5公里。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

县政府的行政区划资料将本村写作「祭头」，村名依博雅地名网所载。村名的来历是村尾有一道水坝，方言中「沶」与「际」同音，故称际头。此前历经平湖区、凤埔区、平湖公社、凤埔公社的隶属变化：1949年时为平湖区管辖的际头村，1953年划入凤埔区；1958年转入平湖公社的际头大队，1963年改由凤埔公社管辖，1984年定名为凤埔乡际头村委会。[1][2]

地理环境[edit]

本村属中亚热带季风气候，冬季不寒，夏季不酷热，适合种植水果与食用菌。山地约7000多亩，耕地约1080亩。[1]

人口民族[edit]

村下辖际头、村兜、东洋3个自然村。据博雅地名网，全村有143户450人（未注年份），党员20名。[1]

经济[edit]

村里以白木耳、黑木耳等食用菌和水果为主要种植，食用菌与水果产业的发展为村民增收打下基础。[1]

文化[edit]

2022年12月，省绿化委员会把本村列为森林村庄（2022年度）。[1]
