凤竹村位于泮洋乡南部，地处闽古交界，距县城约23公里、距乡政府约7公里，全村579户1839人，下辖9个自然村。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村名由“凤林”“郑竹”两个村庄各取一字合成。[2]

行政区划[edit]

下辖曲斗、江坪、土猫圪、洋尾、梨洋、牛车圪、茶圪、田螺湾等9个自然村。[1]

产业[edit]

村民主要种植反季节蔬菜，并栽培食用菌。据村情简介，村内有食用菌专用房500间。[1]

历史荣誉[edit]

2006年，县里把凤竹村列为社会主义新农村建设的首批示范村。2015年以来，村庄陆续入选「福建省第一批传统古村落」和「福建省第二批特色景观旅游名镇名村」，2016年获评福建省级美丽乡村。[1][2]

2019年6月，凤竹村列入「第五批中国传统村落」名录；福建省爱卫办于2021年11月授予凤竹村「2021年福建省卫生村」称号；2024年2月，被确定为「第二批福建省乡村振兴示范村镇」创建对象。[2]
