古时村后有一条大路通往水口，村名因此而来。[2]

人口与产业[edit]

全村有255户、852人，常住者约200人，多数青壮年在县城、福州等地务工或求学。村民以水果、食用菌和水稻种植为主，村外有2个规范化养猪场。[1]

曲斗溪流经全村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年建立后路村，1958年属后路大队，1984年改名为后路村民委员会。[2]

荣誉[edit]

福建省爱卫办于2021年11月授予后路村「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[2]
