炭洋村在泮洋乡东南一隅，离乡政府约17公里，海拔780米，所辖自然村为炭洋、新圪、龙井三处。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

古时村民多以烧炭为生，村名由此而来。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年建立炭洋村，1958年组成炭洋大队，1984年改设村民委员会。[2]

现状[edit]

全村162户523人，有党员23名。外出人员较多，村内留守者多为老人和儿童，据村情简介，村级集体收入尚无。[1]
