水竹洋村是福建省宁德市古田县吉巷乡下辖的行政村，地处古田与屏南交界处，海拔1020米，距乡政府28公里，是革命老区村。[1]
地名由来[edit]
村子处在田洋之中，因盛产水竹而得名（博雅地名网）。[1]
沿革[edit]
1949年归第六区（沂洋）管辖；1959年组建吉巷公社水竹洋大队；1984年改称吉巷乡水竹洋村委会（博雅地名网）。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2022年10月，村子经福建省农业农村厅认定，列入「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」（博雅地名网）。[1]
