历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历是：祖上由溪源迁来，居于与之毗邻之处，故名毗源。[1]

1934年8月，罗源县苏维埃政府派人到毗源溪组织贫农团，成立毗源溪村苏维埃政府；该政府1935年春停止活动。[2]

村子1949年属杉洋区，1963年归大甲公社毗源大队，1984年改设大甲乡毗源村委会。[1]
