历史沿革[edit]

村子1949年属杉洋乡，1963年归大甲公社国本大队，1984年改设大甲乡国本村委会。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村子山环水抱，东有平湖大山，西接笔架山，北靠马头山；村子雨水充足，平均海拔约400米，宜种植蔬菜、栽培食用菌。[2]

村中有一处天池，传说为仙人洗澡之处，四季有清泉流出。[2]
