茶洋村位于大甲镇，村名取自村中始祖厝旁的一棵大茶树。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历是：原始祖厝建在田洋中，旁边有一棵大茶树，故名茶洋。[1]

2020年12月，茶洋村入选2020年福建省森林村庄；2021年6月，茶洋村入选福建省第四批省级传统村落。[1]

茶洋村于2021年11月被福建省爱卫办评定为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
