水潮村是福建省宁德市古田县水口镇下辖的行政村，位于镇北部山区，202省道穿过村境，与闽清县桔林乡相接。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村又称水枧，因原水口镇居民水源充足而得名。[1]

1958年设水潮大队，归谷口公社；1970年改由莪洋公社辖；1984年为莪洋镇的一部分；1986年成为水口镇水潮村委会。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村内分为三个自然村，村落较为分散，南北纵长约10公里。[1]
