梅洋村为凤都镇辖下的村子：东面依傍五华山，西面隔着东村与南平市相望，南边紧接小吉村，北边是上坪村，离镇中心约7公里。[1]
地名由来[edit]
村落从高处俯视呈梅花绽放的形状，因此得名“梅洋”。村中以陈、韩、叶、郑四姓为主，各姓宗族长期和睦相处。[1]
历史与建筑[edit]
村中曾出土明代青瓦与陶瓷残片，村口神庙始建于清康熙年间。村口溪流上的桥梁建于清乾隆年间，1968年曾经重修。[1]
经济[edit]
村里食用菌种植进展明显，茭白与水果也渐成支柱。2004年，通往镇中心的道路完成水泥硬化，农产品外运更为便利。[1]
