楼下村在古田县东部，离镇政府13公里，辖大岭下、紫峰、下山洋三个自然村。博雅地名网记村落面积2.1平方公里，有915人、278户。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历：古时山中建有一座楼，后余氏迁居到楼下方建房，故名。[1]

1949年楼下村归杉洋区管辖；1958年称杉洋公社楼下大队；1984年改设杉洋乡楼下村委会。[1]

1986年，村中被列入名贵树种村。[1][2]

名胜古迹[edit]

亭下桥在紫峰溪电站旁，建于1804年（嘉庆九年），一度被洪水冲毁，于1909年（宣统元年）重新建成。[3][4]

文化[edit]

村中有千年古树5棵，分属红豆杉、亮杉、水松三种。[1]
