芹尺村位于杉洋镇南部，距杉洋镇20公里，辖店前一个自然村。博雅地名网记村落面积0.8平方公里，有780人、210户。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历是迁居此地时，见有一株高达三尺的芹菜，故名。[1]

1949年，此地属杉洋区盘洋镇，驻在盘洋村；1958年进入杉洋公社，称盘洋大队；1980年改名芹尺大队；1984年成为芹尺村委会。[1]

1982年，芹尺村被确认为重点老区基点村。[1]

经济[edit]

村民以种植水稻、绿茶为主，并养殖泥鳅。[2]
