历史沿革[edit]
村名的来历是地处东边，取吉祥如意之义，古称东吉洋。[1]
东吉村在1980年以前属于盘洋大队；同年另立东吉大队，此后才改为村委会。[1]
文化[edit]
2019年6月，东吉村列入第五批中国传统村落名录；2021年11月，被福建省爱卫办命名为2021年福建省卫生村；2024年6月，入选福建省第四批高级版绿盈乡村名单。[1]
