宝桥村距镇区6公里，古宁公路贯穿全村。博雅地名网记全村总面积27612亩，有2064人、631户，下辖10个自然村，是全镇下辖自然村最多的行政村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

此村早先叫“大桥”，到1956年因与大桥镇重名才改称今名。[1]

1958年归杉洋公社，称宝桥大队；1984年改设杉洋镇宝桥村委会。[1]

文化[edit]

村内有宝桥溪穿村而过，溪涧中常见栖息越冬的鸳鸯，故有“宝桥鸳鸯溪”之称。[1][2]

2021年11月，宝桥村被福建省爱卫办命名为2021年福建省卫生村。[1]

经济[edit]

村民长期以食用菌生产为主，博雅地名网称村里是古田县香菇生产发源地之一。近年反季节蔬菜也成为重要产业。[1]
