湖里村位于古田、屏南、蕉城三县（区）交界处，海拔1150米，距镇区16公里。博雅地名网记全村307人、82户，村域林地10895亩，草场1700亩。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村名取自村址四面环山、中间平坦、状如湖泊。[1]
湖里原为白溪村的一部分，直到1989年前才归其管辖；2000年析出，另设湖里村民委员会。[1]
地理环境[edit]
村落海拔高，昼夜温差较大，每年五一前后，漫山杜鹃吸引游客前来观赏。[1][2]
文化[edit]
革命战争时期，陈和水、黄垂民、余三江等人曾在此战斗，村庄属老区基点村。[1]
