灵龟村位于鹤塘镇西部，距镇区约五公里。村名的来历是一个传说：村前水尾两岸各有一座龟山，夜间会移动，把水尾的潭围住，村因此称为灵龟。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1313年，廉公（胡氏始祖）率三口人定居灵龟，之后胡氏族人在此繁衍。[1][2]
名胜古迹[edit]
灵龟福源桥位于村东约400米处。据《凤山胡氏宗谱》记载，桥始建于南宋乾道八年（1172年），为四墩三孔，桥面由12根条石横跨而成。2018年12月列为县级文物。[1][3]
