东际村位于古田县东北部，是鹤塘镇的行政村，也是一处以陈姓聚族而居的古村落。村名与村前溪尾的一处水漈有关。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1949年后，村子属第七区。1958年设鹤塘公社东际大队，1984年改属鹤塘乡，设东际村委会。[1]
村庄朝东，村前溪尾有一条水漈。「漈」与「际」方言读音相近，村名由此而来。[1]
2021年6月，东际村列入福建省第四批省级传统村落名单。同年，该村获评市级文明村。[1][2]
名胜古迹[edit]
村落始建于明代，清代最为兴盛。村中古民居和古建筑有数十座，集中在村部中央，多为土木结构，内部有木雕、石雕和砖雕。[2]
