上溪村位于古田县与南平交界处，是水口水电站库区的移民村。村子沿溪而建，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年设上溪村，属第五区；1958年改为谷口公社的上溪大队，1970年归莪洋公社。1984年成为莪洋镇的上溪村委会，1990年改属黄田镇。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村境内的林地面积较大，黄樟公路和上九公路穿过村中的林区，交通较为便利。[1]

经济[edit]

村子以农业、林业和养殖业为主，绿麻竹种植已成规模，村内建有小型水库。[1]
